Holli Finneren PT, DPT, USAT Level I Coach, Professional Triathlete

Combining passions

Dr. Holli Finneren earned her Physical Therapy degree from The George Washington University in 2012. Shortly after completing physical therapy school, Dr. Finneren completed her first IRONMAN Triathlon in Louisville, KY. The two passions grew and over the next few years merged as Holli started focusing her physical therapy practice on endurance athletes and performance optimization.

Dr. Finneren has worked in multiple outpatient settings in Washington, DC and Hawaii, giving her the opportunity to work with recreational athletes with grueling work schedules all the way to full time professional athletes looking to overcome injury and prevent future reoccurrence. She has spent time studying manual therapy for soft tissue and joint pathology, trigger point dry needling, concussion treatment, running analysis, cycling analysis, movement efficiency, and injury prevention. She has spent countless hours sharing her knowledge with local community members through free workshops and clinics.

When not treating clients, Holli is working on her own triathlon performance - striving for progress not perfection - as well as coaching her individual athletes. Holli spent 6 years competing with the DC Triathlon Club Elite team before relocating to Hawaii and beginning her career as a professional triathlete. With 11 IRONMAN finishes and 2 finishes at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, HI under her belt and 6 years of endurance coaching experience along with her USAT Level 1 Coaching License she is eager and ready to help you reach your performance goals.
